Moderate Eating Is The Key To Weight Loss

Studies now show that a calories-in versus calories-out equation is central in weight control. A total lifestyle approach, exercise and moderate eating, is the key to weight loss.

Four popular diets, like the Atkins and Mediterranean Prescription diets, were compared. Participants had to exercise ninety minutes a week. After six months, members of every diet lost around thirteen pounds on average. The four groups did not have a significant difference in weight loss among them. The only thing that stayed the same was taking away 750 calories from daily eating.

So now, focus not on what you eat, but how much of it you eat. Place your attention on moderation and get rid of faddish diets.
