I don't have any questions, I just wanted to thank you for bringing life back to me.

I was so sick and now I am feeling as good as I did twenty years ago! It has been a long battle: no energy, aches and pains going from one Dr. to the next. They told me it was anything from arthritis to depression; they had me on steroids for three years... All behind me now!

I just don't know how to thank you. I think it would be wonderful if you could just be everywhere with your caring heart. Information and the real reason behind all of the bad, sick days that so many of us have had.

Sincerely, Jessica...@telusplanet.net

FAQ
Q: How do I change my reactions to what's happening around me?

A: We emotionally exaggerate a situation when we say, "This is awful! This is terrible! This is the worst thing in the world that could happen!" Start to correct those thinking errors by looking at situations differently. Calm yourself down by using "self talk." The other thing is to find out where your stress trigger is coming from and look at that.

Quote of the Week
He who takes medicine and neglects to diet wastes the skill of his doctors. ~Chinese Proverb

Medicine is needed for acute illnesses. There is simply no substitution for antibiotics when faced with severe infection. Unfortunately, most if not all of them have side effects. I use medications only as a last resort-when natural remedies fail. Our illness largely has a direct causal relationship to our daily diet. We are who we eat. The good news is: changing our diet also has a reversing effect, especially with chronic diseases. 80% of adult onset diabetes can be REVERSED with diet and lifestyle alone. Isn't that wonderful news? I want you to pay attention to what you see. Choose from my food choice table.

That's A Good Question!
Question: My husband had bypass surgery a year ago, and then had high blood pressure, which is now under control. Recently, he seems to have circulation problems, especially in the cold. His ears and nose turn blue and his hands will hurt. Will this go away or could it be the medications that he is taking?

Answer: The blue color is from the constriction of blood vessels in those areas, which are end and distal blood vessels that supply the face. During the course of surgery, it might have been possible that some of the more proximal blood vessels upstream from those were compromised. This is not very frequent however. More commonly, some drugs can cause vessel constriction. Most of these side effects will go away with time, usually in a matter of week. The fact that the vessel constriction is related to temperature might also bring up the possibilities of a vasomotor response or other forms of auto-immune disease that can have such presentations. We are now getting into conditions that are very rare indeed.

I am not sure what any doctor can do, especially if the situation is not very serious. Wearing ear muffs is a good prevention.

To enhance blood flow from a natural remedy perspective, you can try taking 1000mg of ginkgo.

That's A Good Question!
Question: I have been diagnosed with sebhorreic Keratosis and was afflicted for the last seven years on arms, legs and skull. I have consulted with several dermatologists in Trinidad and Tobago and am currently taking shark 1000 mg of shark liver oil with 30 % AKL.

Answer: You are on the right track, but you still need to be fine tuned. First you are taking a dose that is far too low to have any anti-inflammatory effect. Second, if you take higher doses, liver oil is not indicated due to excessive vitamin D unless you monitor your vitamin D blood level or live in a place with minimal sunshine. I suggest you take 10,000 grams per day of pharmaceutical grade fish oil with less than 1 ppb of toxic metal, yielding 5.4 grams of EPA /DHA. Take one tsp two times a day to get this amount. That is an average dose, some people need more. Do not take fish oil capsules or regular grade fish oil at this high dosage, as low dosages as what you are doing now seldom work. .
