Headaches come from many different sources. One would be MSG, which plays a big part in headaches after eating certain foods. This "Chinese Restaurant Syndrome" is triggered by the monosodium glutamate in the food. It can lead to vascular dilatation, and flashing lights in your eyes. Highly processed foods contain lots of MSG. Baby foods used to have MSG to make infants eat their food. However, there have been harmful effects and companies have stopped including MSG into their products. Any sort of deprivation can also cause migraines. For example, sleep deprivation, or heavy smokers can have constant headaches.
