Long comment: Hypohydration is lack of intake of water. Usually, it happens when individuals do resistance exercises. Not drinking enough water leads to protein degradation and catabolism. This affects athletes who work out for hard and long periods of times. Hypohydration is related to higher levels of cortisone and can relate to fat storage and muscle degradation. It is good to take at least 6-8 glasses of water a day. There is no harm to drink more than that. Experts recommend also around 1 gallon per day. It is ideal to urinate frequently all throughout the day and drink fluids constantly.
