Healthy Chia Turmeric Pudding Recipe


  • 1 and ? cup nut milk, divided
  • ¾ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ground green cardamom
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 large pinch ground pepper
  • 2 – 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • Whipped coconut cream for garnishing


  1. In a saucepan combine 1 cup of the nut milk, turmeric, cardamom, ginger, and pepper and heat until milk just starts to boil.
  2. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in the additional 1/3rd cup of nut milk, maple syrup, orange zest, and chia seeds. You can add more maple syrup to adjust sweetness according to your tastes.
  3. Allow the pudding to cool at room temperature for about 15 – 20 min. Whisk your pudding to evenly distribute chia seeds. Garnish with coconut cream.
  4. You can serve healthy turmeric pudding straight away or refrigerate until chilled for a thicker pudding.
