Cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue Foods and Supplements?

By: Michael Lam, MD, MPH

Cordyceps and adrenal fatigue supplements should not be overlooked when healing the adrenalsThe adrenal glands are the heart of the body’s stress response system. Their function is essential to properly keeping the body in balance when stressors threaten to destabilize the internal homeostasis. Unfortunately, like any other part of the body, it can suffer injury, become worn down and even stop working if it is not taken care of. In the modern world, we run into stress constantly, and as the stress control center, the adrenals are always on the front line of the battle against stress. If this happens too often and for too long, the adrenal glands may not have enough time to rest, rebuild, and maintain itself. If nothing is done to support or alleviate the burden on our adrenals, they can start to break down, resulting in a condition known as Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. So how do we take care of our adrenal glands and prevent this from happening? The answer lies in a diet full of cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue recovery foods along with the correct supplements.

Cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue Nutrition

Nutrition is one of the first, most important steps in taking care of every part of our body; and what we eat in our diet is the first level of nutrition our body receives. Sometimes, though, it is hard to eat enough of a certain food or get enough of a certain nutrient or nutrients we need for optimal health. As a solution, nutritional supplementation has become a popular way to make sure that even if we we’re not getting enough of or missing out on something in our diet, we can still make sure we get them.

Because of the size of the industry, there are a vast number of supplements for different nutritional goals and situations. It can be difficult to navigate the sea of choices to pick proper adrenal support supplements that will actually help. Here we have provided a short list, let’s take a look at some supplements that can support the adrenal glands and improve their function:

Vitamin C, Cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue

  • Adrenal glandular or extract
  • Vitamin B complex
  • Vitamin C
  • DHEA
  • Pregnenolone

  • GLA
  • Hydrolyzed collagen
  • Amino acids

Cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue Symptoms

One of the symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue is increasing inflammation that can cause immune system problems. Cordyceps is a potent enhancer of immune functioning. The inflammatory response is one of the body systems addressed interactively in the NeuroEndoMetabolic model of stress response.

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses cordyceps as a way to nourish the kidneys. It is also an adaptogenic herb. It boosts the immune system and is a potent anti-inflammatory agent. As an adaptogenic it influences the deeper immunity layers because it contains a lot of the polysaccharides that are potent antioxidant, antiviral, and anti-tumor properties.

Summary on Cordyceps and Adrenal Fatigue Supplements

Even this short list can be confusing or daunting. Which ones should I take? How much of each is best for me? What brands work better? Fortunately, Dr. Michael Lam has drawn on his years of research and clinical experience to develop supplements specifically to enhance and support adrenal function. These adrenal support supplements take the guesswork and experimentation out of finding the right nutrients to help your adrenal glands and are available at Supplement Clinic web store. Because each person is different, care should be exercised when determining what supplement is appropriate. What works for one person may actually make another person worse.

Cordyceps and adrenal fatigue supplements are essential in Adrenal Fatigue recoveryThis is especially so when the adrenal glands are very weak, as in the case with advanced Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. The clinical picture becomes more complicated because the body is generally very weak. The adrenal glands are in a state of disrepair, and like a broken down car, adding fuel to it in the form of nutritional supplements doesn’t make it any better and can even worsen their state. In severe cases of Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome, it is important to consult expert guidance to determine what kind of supplementation the adrenal glands need, how much to take and when to take them, so that the adrenal glands can rebuild themselves and regain their functional capacity.

Thank you for your supports. I believe the right supplement for me will be created soon! I still seek collagen support but hesitate to order the Adrenal Collagen Support because I am concerned about the D-ribose my A1C is 5.8. I wanted to order the Adrenal X but it had many ingredients and was not gluten-free, I needed co-enzymated B vitamins, and the orange juice and sucralose concerned me since I am blood type o and FOS gives me flatulence.
