Salmon Teriyaki

Salmon is loaded with omega-3 fatty acidsIf you use wild salmon in this recipe, the extra benefit is the higher omega-3 contents as compared to Atlantic (farmed) salmon.


  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 lbs Salmon (split into 4 fillets)
  • 2 tsp olive oil



  1. Put all Marinade ingredients in a resealable bag
  2. Add the salmon. Mix well
  3. Refrigerate for 1 – 8 hours
  4. Remove salmon from the marinade. Reserve the Marinade
  5. Heat a frying pan over medium high heat
  6. When hot, add oil and swirl it around to coat the pan
  7. Add salmon; sear 2 minutes on each side
  8. Turn heat to low
  9. Add in the reserved Marinade
  10. Cover and cook for around 4-5 minutes or open the lid after 5 minutes and cook until all liquid is gone
  11. Serve with rice and vegetables
