Steam Onion Recipe

  • Remove skin of one medium to large size onion
  • Cut the onion up roughly into 1-inch cubes.
  • Put in a bowl. DO NOT ADD ANY LIQUID.
  • Add 2 cups of water into a pot.
  • Put the bowl in the pot, cover and bring to boil.
  • Turn down heat to medium.
  • Steam the onion for 30 minutes.
  • After done, drain the juice from the bowl and drink.
  • NOTE: the liquid should be around 2 oz.
