Grilled Apple (Gala Apple or Granny Smith Apple)

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away". This is indeed very true. Studies have shown that phloridzin, found in apples, may protect post-menopausal women from osteoporosis. Pectin, also found in apples, lowesr LDL cholesterol, and other phytochemical that can possibly prevent different kinds of cancer.

Recipe

Directions:

Spread butter on the apple.
Put apple face down on frying pan or grill.
Cook cover in low - medium heat until soft.

Note:

This is a great dessert for those of you who are watching calories. It is delicious, if you use Gala Apple, it's sweet and fragrant. If you use Granny Smith Apple, it will be sour.
